Anouk always kept good company. In the 60s she was photographed with all the prolific and celebrated stars of screen and the Yé-yé pop princesses. Whether it was Anouk Aimée (her namesake), Sylvie Vartan, Anna Karina, Françoise Dorleac, or Françoise Hardy, Anouk was seen with all of them.

Ok, I photoshopped her into the images of some of my favourites, but what fun! Enjoy.

As I gear up for series three of Anouk, I was looking at her press coverage so far. I am so grateful to Ian Price Watkins and Pat Henry over at Fashion Doll Quarterly magazine for their support and coverage of Anouk's unfolding story.

The first article was a teaser about the doll without full revealing her. It also spotlighted my work as a doll artist and my restorations and custom reroots / repaints. I work under the name "Virgin Archer".

The next article was Anouk's official introduction to the doll collecting world. These were early prototype dolls and outfits used in the article. Some of which never went into production. At least not yet ;-)

Finally a lovely little press release about series two, Anouk in Japan.

Anouk in Japan sold out. Many Thanks

I am amazed to be writing this post. Anouk in Japan sold out in matter of weeks. I am so grateful to everybody that bought and appreciated her. To mark the end of the line I produced a dozen or so unique dolls that were not catalogued or part of the official line of a Anouk in Japan. These dolls had special hairstyles and included a variation of the trouser suit. There were also six Black dolls with unique eye paint. Even these sold out very quickly via the group.

I do feel rather sorry that the entire line sold in Japan and via the facebook group exclusively. I will make this up to other customers with series three, and make sure some dolls are available on eBay and outside the Anouk facebook group.

The OOAK dolls are pictured below. Although these dolls are now all sold, I hope you will enjoy the images. Stay tuned for information regarding series three!

So the next line of Anouk dolls are well under production. These are going to be a very limited edition issue. 100 special dolls and outfits. The concept is "Anouk in Japan". You may be with familiar with Japan market exclusives of Francie, Tammy, Skipper, and Barbie. These dolls and fashions were aimed at the Japanese market, and as such had modified face paint and fashions.

So it will be with Anouk. A new face paint and 7 lovely new fashions. A highlight will be the gorgeous and rich Kimono dolls. There will be 25 of them and the fabrics are incredible. Here are a few teasers of the under production booklet and dolls. Stay tuned Anouk friends!
